I'M HELPING YOU, COACH!: 100+ Offense Drills For Your Basketball Program written by Joao da Costa (Authorhouse $16.75 paperback c2004).

The author is an accomplished basketball coach who lives in the Northwest (North Seattle Washington). This is the first of a series of his books offering tips for his fellow coaches and for young people who are just beginning coaching careers.
This book offers more than one hundred offensive drills complete with diagrams and explicit instructions on how to make each drill work effectively. The author writes that in his experience it is difficult to keep the players motivated so he varies the drills he uses in practice. da Costa has traveled the world and conducted basketball clinics and his techniques are well respected as they are based in the game's fundamentals.
This book features drills that key on many aspects of offense including post-player footwork, shooting, passing, and dribbling. I am glad to hear that da Costa is writing a series of books on coaching methods since I have a son who is embarking on a career in teaching/coaching. Undoubtedly this series of books will serve as a great help for him in his fledgling career. For more information on this or any other Authorhouse book, go to www.authorhouse.com.
