Step One

Player 5 inbounds the ball to 1 and cuts to the low block. Player 1 advances the ball up the court. Player 3 cuts behind X1 to get the pass from 1.

Note: The cut from 3 behind X1 will surprise the defense and take away the trap from the wing.

Step Two

When player 3 catchs the ball he dribbles to the right wing and 2 clears out to deep corner. Players 4 and 5 flash to high post. Player 3 quickly hits 5 or 2 at corner for a shot.

Step Three

When Player 5 gets the ball, player 4 cuts to the basket to receive the pass. Player 2 is ready to shoot. Player 1 slides down to the corner for a possible cross court pass from 5 for a shot. If player 1 gets the ball, 5 will cut to the ballside block.

Reverse
If player 3 cannot pass to 5 he then reverse the ball to 1.
As you see the reverse pass will shift the whole defense.

Step One

Player 4 back screens against X3.
Player 2 crosses baseline to the ballside corner.
Player 5 comes up to the top of the key to get the pass from 1.
Player 5 catches the ball and quickly passes to 2 at corner.

Step Two
If player 2 cannot shoot then 4 cuts to mid-post to get the pass from 2.
Player 5 cuts into the lane for a possible pass from 4.
Player 3 slides down to the corner.

Reverse
Step Three
Player 4 passes to 5 inside the lane.
Player 5 attacks the hoop or swings to 3 who is wide open for a shot.

Note: If player 4 decides to attack the basket against X4 then 5 does not cut to the basket.

Player 5 inbounds the ball to 1.
Player 1 drives off a late “drag” screen and roll by 5.
Player 2 steps over to get the pass from 1.
While player 3 cuts to the right wing to receive the pass from 2.
Player 4 crosses to the right block.
Player 3 can shoot or feed 4 at low post.

Note: When player 3 gets the ball, player 2 cuts opposite corner.
Player 3 can pass to 5 at high post or cross court pass to 2 at left corner for a shot.

Quick Shot
Two
This time player 4 comes up to the top of the nail to receive the pass from 1.
Player 2 screens X5 and 3 crosses to the right corner to get the pass from 4 for a shot.

Note: When player 3 gets the ball, 4 dives to the hoop and 2 clears out to the left corner.
